Job summary

bp is hiring a Facilities Engineer to support existing power generating plants operated by Archaea Energy, a bp company. The role entails partnering with Power Operations and Maintenance to optimize production, analyze data, and drive safety and environmental compliance across multiple sites.

You will develop and review procedures, support MOC processes including risk assessments, and collaborate with engineering teams and third parties on system modifications to improve runtime and KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in relevant engineering roles.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer, and thermal systems.

Responsibilities

• Support design and modification of power generation systems and retrofits.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and contractors to develop work packages.
• Review engineering submittals and ensure safety, maintainability, and reliability.
