The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer to maintain tactical power-generation sets and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, replace regulators, governors, or circuit cards, and adjust frequencies and voltages as needed.

You will train through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, gaining skills valuable for civilian power-plant work, with pay during training and benefits for service members.

Qualifications

• Operates and maintains power-generation equipment.
• Understands electrical generation and distribution principles.
• Handles diesel generators and related components.
• Reads and interprets electrical/electronic schematics.
