Job summary

The Army National Guard seeks a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer to provide essential power for operations day and night. You will perform preventive maintenance on generation equipment and replace voltage regulators, governors, or circuit cards to keep systems running.

Training consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training and about 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, including classroom and field work on electrical power systems.

Qualifications

• Perform maintenance on tactical utility power-generation sets and related equipment.
• Replace voltage regulators, governors, or circuit cards as needed.
• Adjust frequencies and voltages per technical publications to improve efficiency.
