Job summary

The DC Army National Guard seeks a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer to support military operations by maintaining and repairing tactical power-generation equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, replace components, and fine-tune systems, with paid training and the chance to serve both your state and country.

This part-time role involves drill weekends and ongoing skill development, preparing you for civilian power industry work after service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a physical exam
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com)
• High school diploma or GED required or candidate still in high school

Responsibilities

• Maintain tactical power-generation sets and related equipment
• Disassemble, inspect, and maintain generators and engines
• Adjust voltages/frequencies per technical publications
