Job summary

designerbrands is seeking a Power Equipment Operator to efficiently transport, deliver, and retrieve merchandise within the distribution center. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Shifts run Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with duties including loading/unloading, pallet movement, RF scanning, and maintaining accuracy in inventory.

Qualifications

• Requires up to 8 hours of training on power equipment.
• Must pass written and driving tests for power equipment certification.
• Basic math to ensure inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise from trailers and departments.
• Shuttle, retrieve, and deliver pallets as per pick lists.
• Transport empty pallets to designated areas.
• Scan merchandise into locations using RF Gun.
