Job summary

Designer Brands is seeking a Power Equipment Operator to efficiently transport, deliver, and retrieve merchandise across the distribution center. This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in non-climate-controlled conditions.

The position runs Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm and involves loading/unloading, shuttling pallets, scanning with RF Gun, and maintaining accurate logs. You must be able to move between departments as needed and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass power equipment certification tests.
• Experience with warehouse material handling preferred.
• Ability to read and follow directives and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads merchandise from trailers and departments with proper carton counts.
• Shuttles, retrieves, and delivers pallets to designated areas per pick lists.
• Scans merchandise into locations via RF Gun and maintains logs.
• Ensures there is no overhang or damaged goods; maintains a clean, safe workspace.
• Operates pallet jacks, conveyors and manual equipment safely as needed.
• Adapts to other departments per needs of the facility and company.
