Job summary
Scholastic is seeking a full-time Warehouse Forklift/Cherry Picker Operator in Roselle, IL. Shift is 3:30 PM–Midnight, Monday through Friday, with $17.00 hourly pay plus a $1.50 shift premium after 2 PM.
The role requires operating various power equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to safety standards. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 50% Scholastic merchandise discount.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with power equipment and safety rules.
- Forklift operation experience and certifications preferred.
- Scanner proficiency with inventory systems recommended.
- Ability to read safety rules and procedures in English.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Operate battery-powered or gas-powered equipment to transport products within the facility.
- Move carts, pallets, and inventory using forklifts, stock pickers, and reach trucks.
- Follow OSHA and safety rules; wear PPE and maintain a clean, safe area.
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and order picking as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and support cycle counts.
