Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Project Manager with extensive experience in the utility, industrial, or power generation sectors.

The role focuses on leading multi-disciplinary teams on projects up to $2M, managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering or a technical field, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and be able to operate as owner’s engineer on diverse power projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering, architecture, or other technical field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in engineering and/or project management.
• Hybrid eligible; relocation to Chattanooga, TN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delegating, planning, prioritizing and reviewing the work of other engineers.
• Coordinate and interface with clients, vendors, engineers, colleagues, and electric utilities personnel.
• Identify, analyze, and solve complex technical and management problems related to engineering projects; facilitate change management.
• Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
