Job summary

Google Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Power Engineering Technical Lead to drive the power delivery solutions for data center hardware, spanning from rack to chip. You will operate at the highest level of technical leadership, integrating power delivery and power management into Google’s data center roadmap for ASICs, TPUs, GPUs, and networking hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in hardware, power delivery design (AC/DC, DC/DC), board bring up and debugging.
• Experience architecting and shipping volume hardware products directly to data centers.
• 10 years of technical leadership in infrastructure with experience in data center power delivery system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop innovative and competitive power delivery and power management solutions for Google’s data center hardware spanning TPU, GPU, Networking, Server compute, Storage and other computing hardware.
• Drive power delivery, power management, and energy storage solutions from early architecture through volume production and data center deployment; troubleshoot fleet-wide deployment challenges.
• Steer technical engagements with suppliers and ecosystem partners to ensure high-quality, high-yield volume manufacturing.
• Serve as the ultimate technical authority on system-level performance, leveraging deep expertise to manage complex trade-offs.
