Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) invites a Power Engineering Intern to join our Protection Systems team in Pullman, Washington. The role will support SEL staff and customers, develop knowledge of SEL processes and technologies, and perform testing on new and existing products while documenting results.

Applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering, be at least a junior, and be able to work part-time during the school

• Junior standing or higher in your academic program.
• Ability to use MS Windows and Microsoft Visio.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for someone to join our Protection Systems team as a Power Engineering Intern in Pullman, Washington. Candidates who can work part-time during the academic year and full-time during the summer.

A typical day as a Power Engineering Intern might include:

• Provide technical support to SEL staff & customers.


• Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.


• Perform testing on new and existing technology.


• Document and communicate test results.


• Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.


• Understand. Create. Simplify.


• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range Data - $24.25 - $33.00 hourly
