Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. in Newark, NJ, seeks an experienced Investment Professional to source, underwrite and manage senior debt and mezzanine investments in power generation assets globally.

The role leads a team, develops relationships with sponsors and advisors, negotiates financing documents, and aligns with senior management to achieve Real Assets - Power objectives while traveling as needed. The base salary is disclosed; a hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in power project and utility finance with structuring and tax equity experience.
• Proven track record closing deals from origination to closing.
• Excellent presentation and senior-level communication.
• Strong analytical and debt investment skills.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Source private placement senior debt and mezzanine investments $25–$250M+ directly or via intermediaries.
• Supervise and develop junior investment professionals.
• Generate deal flow with clients, sponsors, intermediaries and advisors.
• Manage a portfolio of power investments including projects and cooperatives.
• Work with lawyers to negotiate financing documents.
• Collaborate with Managing Director to achieve Real Assets - Power objectives.
