Job summary

PGIM, the Global Asset Management arm of Prudential, is seeking an Investment Professional to lead sourcing, underwriting and managing power investments in a global context. Based in Newark, NJ, you will work with senior leaders to structure and close debt investments and develop new business with clients and sponsors.

You will manage teams, review financing documents with lawyers, and travel as needed to advance deal flow in North America, Latin America, UK/Europe and Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years in power project and utility finance.
• Experience with project finance structuring and tax equity structures.
• Track record of closing transactions and negotiating financing docs.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to influence senior management.
• Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Source private placements of senior debt and mezzanine investments, $25–$250+ million, directly or via intermediaries.
• Supervise and mentor junior investment professionals.
• Develop deal flow by networking with clients, sponsors, prospects, intermediaries and advisors.
• Manage a portfolio of power investments, including projects and portfolios, utilities and cooperatives.
• Collaborate with lawyers to negotiate financing documents and drive closings.
• Coordinate with the Managing Director to achieve Real Assets - Power group objectives.
