Job summary

TAE Power Solutions is seeking a Product Validation Test Engineer to validate ESS hardware and logic, manage daily test execution, and generate comprehensive validation reports. The role requires hands-on testing across BATT/UC, BMS/CMS interfaces, PCS, and PLC/HMI, with MATLAB/Simulink and LabVIEW experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years experience with ESS or power electronics test operations.
• Hands-on testing of BATT/UC, BMS/CMS, PCS, PLC/HMI.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
• Experience with HIL/SIL environments and certification testing (UL/IEC/IEEE).

Responsibilities

• Develop and run Normal Operation Tests, Abnormal Operation Tests, and Certification Tests for hardware and logic validation.
• Configure validation equipment and ensure proper data logging and integration.
• Track test status, pass/fail criteria, and trending data across validation categories.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly validation reports for hardware and logical operation performance.
• Coordinate cross-team validation across hardware, software, and systems engineering.
