Job summary

Lunar Energy is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer for power electronics to ensure product reliability across the lifecycle. You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers, provide inputs during design, and drive DFMEA and reliability testing programs.

Responsibilities include tracking field performance, enabling continuous improvement, and analyzing failures to support design improvements. A strong background in power electronics reliability is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or Physics.
• Proven track record solving power electronics reliability failures.
• Experience with DFMEA and reliability testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design engineers to set reliability targets for power electronics and battery systems.
• Provide Design for Reliability inputs during new product development.
• Drive DFMEA to capture risk and implement mitigations.
• Develop ALT reliability test plans using risks and physics of failure.
• Track field reliability metrics and support warranty insights.
• Conduct failure analysis to drive containment and corrective actions.
