Job summary

Bloom Energy in Fremont, CA is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Production Department, supporting Engineering and NPI teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.

You will assemble, troubleshoot, and test electro-mechanical and power conditioning modules, read schematics, route harnesses, and collaborate with engineering to improve products while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of field experience in power electronics assembly.
• Ability to read electrical/electronics schematics.
• Experience with PCBA soldering and de-soldering.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, troubleshoot, and test complex electro-mechanical and power conditioning modules.
• Collaborate with Engineering and NPI teams to optimize layouts and documentation.
• Read schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
• Route electrical harnesses neatly and maintain organization.
• Perform routine tests on finished assemblies or sub-assemblies.
