Qualifications

• HIL testing and validation experience for power converters is required.
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow model development skills.
• Solid understanding of power electronics including UPS and DC/AC converters.
• Experience with real-time simulation and model-based design.
• Ability to debug hardware‑software integration in real‑time environments.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and validate firmware.

Responsibilities

• Design breakout/interface boards to integrate power converter controllers with HIL platforms.
• Configure HIL test setups using OPAL-RT for various power electronics products.
• Develop and maintain real‑time HIL models for circuits using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow.
• Integrate control hardware with HIL, including signal conditioning, wiring, and I/O setup.
• Execute validation per DVT plans and document observations in reports.
• Troubleshoot HW-SW issues and collaborate with Control, Firmware, and Systems teams.
• Support controller algorithm verification, fault injection testing, and system validation.
