Job summary

GE Vernova Power Conversion & Storage (PCS) is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Level 2 Engineering team in the United States. This role delivers advanced remote and on-site support for industrial drives, power converters, and control systems, ensuring technical excellence in field operations.

You will mentor junior engineers, develop instructions, perform RCA, and collaborate with Product Engineering, R&D, and Field Services while maintaining GE safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Power Electronics with relevant experience.
• Experience with industrial drives, converters, or automation systems.
• Solid understanding of motor control, drive topologies, and AC/DC converters.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshooting procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and support off-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for GE Vernova PCS products remotely and on-site.
• Assist Field Service Engineers and customers in troubleshooting complex issues.
• Support commissioning and validation of power conversion systems (FAT/SAT).
• Develop technical instructions, service bulletins, and guides.
• Perform root cause analysis and relay insights to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Field Services.
• Participate in training and knowledge base development; maintain safety protocols.
