Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded electronics design with strong hardware ownership (firmware exposure a plus).
• Demonstrated design experience in power conversion and/or motor drives in embedded hardware implementations.
• Demonstrated experience with MOSFET switching in low-voltage battery systems (20–80V class), including gate drive and protection needs.
• Knowledge of electronic component selection and design tradeoffs.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools, and ability to support PCB layout needs (Altium or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and own power electronics hardware for battery-powered products, including architecture and schematic capture.
• Design and debug MOSFET switching power stages and supporting circuits for low-voltage, high-current apps.
• Support motor control hardware implementations and collaborate with firmware on HW/FW interfaces.
• Prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronics using lab equipment and analysis software.
• Lead design activities including component selection, PCB layout, prototype builds, and test plans.
• Communicate across teams to drive schedules and project metrics.
• Track projects to align with the stage-gate product development process.
