Job summary

Advanced Energy in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking an Electronic Engineer II to design, develop, and validate advanced switch-mode power supplies. You will own substantial portions of product designs and drive performance and reliability across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform validation and documentation, and mentor junior engineers while supporting innovation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in power electronics design and development.
• Ability to design, analyze, prototype, simulate, test, and validate electronic circuits and subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug power supply subsystems including AC/DC converters and EMI/filters.
• Own significant portions of product designs and lead technical aspects of projects.
• Develop and execute validation plans and analyze results to meet design requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and technicians.
