Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in EMC/EMI to design and test Gen4 EME boards, validate performance, and support powertrain inverter system evaluation.

The role requires hands-on hardware design, DFMEA, EMI/EMC evaluation, soldering, oscilloscope and multimeter use, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust high‑voltage power electronics implementations.

Qualifications

• Power electronics experience is mandatory.
• Buck/Boost converter topologies, inductors and filters design and testing.
• High‑voltage systems above 800V and high‑current switching devices.
• Worst‑case circuit analysis, component failure analysis and DFMEA.
• Soldering, oscilloscopes, multimeters, PXIe and DCE/EME systems experience with HV power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Capture D&V EME requirements and translate into product specifications.
• Design and test Gen4 EME boards, including buck and boost boards.
• Perform circuit analysis, EMI/EMC evaluation, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Set up EME/DCE systems with powertrain inverters and prepare analysis reports.
