Power Electronics Engineer (Electrical Power Systems: Traction, Propulsion)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (must be able to relocate) – relocation assistance provided.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and validate inverter and converter power electronics, control systems, and various auxiliary components for traction/propulsion/… applications (railway rolling stock, light rail vehicles, electric‑powered off‑road vehicles for mining/construction, etc).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE)
• Several years of relevant full‑time experience
• Experience with design of high‑power electronics, converters (AC‑DC, DC‑DC, DC‑AC), three‑phase motors, switching devices, Si/SiC MOSFET, IGBT, etc.
• MATLAB, Simulink, etc.
