Job summary

Heron Power Inc. is seeking an electronics design engineer to architect and integrate the low‑voltage electrical system inside high‑performance power converters, ensuring reliability, EMC, and safety across the full product lifecycle.

You will define cabinet‑level architecture, select LV components, create schematics and harness documentation, and collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to bring designs from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in low voltage electrical system design.
• Familiarity with cabinet-level LV power distribution and signaling.

Responsibilities

• Own the hardware development lifecycle from requirements to production.
• Define cabinet-level LV architecture for system integration.
• Select LV components (relays, fuses, terminal blocks, etc.) per reliability targets.
• Create schematics, block diagrams, and harness documentation.
• Ensure interface integrity across PCBs, sensors, and actuators.
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams for EMI/EMC performance and enclosure layout.
