Job summary

Mesta Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Power Electronics Design Engineer to translate system requirements into detailed power-electronics designs for industrial, energy, and power-quality applications.

You will work closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust power-conversion products. Responsibilities include design, development, validation, and testing of power stages, magnetics, protection circuits, and control interfaces, with emphasis on 3-phase inverters and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or higher is required.
• MS EE preferred or equivalent experience in power electronics design.
• Experience with power-inverter design, 3-phase inverters, and grid-connected converters.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power-conversion hardware, including power stages and magnetics.
• Prototype build, debugging, and coordination of third-party testing.
• Define test procedures for functional, thermal, EMI/EMC, and performance validation.
• Assist with BOM creation, ECOs, and transition from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
