Job summary

Wall Industries, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer in Exeter, NH to join its team. The role focuses on designing power supplies, developing prototype models, and supporting manufacturing transfer with a strong emphasis on analog circuits and magnetic design.

You will work with customers and internal specs, verify designs through prototype testing, and ensure compliance with quality procedures while interfacing with multiple departments and vendors.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in Electronics.
• Three years’ experience as design engineer of analog circuits.
• Familiar with advanced analog design techniques including magnetic design and theory, power supply layout and packaging, CAD generated documentation, power applications and interpretation of system power specifications, component engineering, including stress factor analysis, and manufacturing techniques related to power supply manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Design generation of power supplies from customer or internal specifications.
• Prepare preliminary fabrication documentation for prototype models and support testing, troubleshooting, and repair of analog and digital circuits.
• Test product models under environmental conditions to verify stability, reliability and conformance to design.
• Operate with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltage meters, electronic loads, bench supplies, fixtures and environmental ovens.
• Prototype and assist in fabricating fixtures and tooling for production transfer.
• Generate instructional information for manufacturing for product transfer from engineering.
