Ashton North LLC in Raleigh, NC seeks an Application Engineer - Power Electronics to drive on-site technical support, pre-sales demonstrations, and design-in activities with major accounts. You will collaborate across Product Management, Sales, and Engineering to translate customer needs into robust power and thermal solutions.

The role requires deep understanding of power electronics, strong communication, and willingness to travel.

Competenze

• B.S.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years’ related product or field application experience in power electronic products.
• Hands-on expertise with power electronics (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC converters, chargers, motor drives).
• Familiarity with thermal solutions (axial fans, EC fans, liquid cooling, solenoids, pumps).
• Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%.
• Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide on-site pre-sales demonstrations and design-in support at customer locations.
• Deliver post-sales troubleshooting and training.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and external stakeholders.
• Serve as the on-site technical champion at key accounts and partner sites.
• Coordinate with global R&D and drive project management practices.
