Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power EIT in Fort Worth, TX to support power-related design options, analyses, and project deliverables within our Power Generation team. You will work with engineers and BIM specialists to drive reliable, sustainable solutions.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, strong communication and organizational skills, and a desire to pursue professional registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience coordinating with architectural/engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop power-related design options and prepare project deliverables (drawings, cost estimates, specs).
• Perform routine engineering tasks, check drawings, calculations, and ensure code compliance and budgets.
• Complete projects with clear objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers, other EITs, Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
