Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power EIT located in Fort Worth, Texas. You will perform analyses to develop power-related design options and assist in preparing project deliverables such as drawings, cost estimates, and specifications.

You will work under supervision on routine engineering tasks, coordinate with other disciplines, and contribute to project schedules and budgets while pursuing professional registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience at an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm preferred
• Ability to coordinate work with others and communicate clearly
• Desire for growth opportunities and professional registration

Responsibilities

• Analyze power-related design options and assist in preparing project deliverables, including drawings, estimates and specs
• Perform routine engineering tasks using standard techniques; check drawings, calculations, and ensure code compliance
• Complete projects with clear objectives and limited variables
• Work independently on small projects or support senior engineers on larger projects
• Collaborate with Project Engineers, EITs, Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed
• Perform other duties as required
