Qualifications

• Journeyman Lineman with a valid Journeyman card.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs overhead and underground distribution and communication systems.
• Installs and removes equipment such as poles, cross arms, transformers and protective devices.
• Connects, tests, and maintains conductors and cables; operates test equipment.
• Works with others, collaborating and directing apprentices and helpers.
• Adheres to safety procedures when working near energized lines or equipment.
• Relates to customers and environments across various climates.
