Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Lineman with Journeyman Lineman card.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license.
• Experience working with utility poles and climbing.
• Weight under 285 pounds due to safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs overhead and underground distribution and communication systems.
• Installs and removes distribution equipment such as poles, cross arms, towers, enclosures, ducts, transformers and protective devices.
• Connects, tests, adjusts, and maintains electrical equipment.
• Operates test equipment and construction vehicles.
• Work safely around energized lines and mentor apprentices.
