Actalent is seeking a Distribution Designers I/II in Spring, TX to design and support electric power distribution systems, contributing to grid hardening and make-ready projects. This office-based role follows a standard 40-hour week and offers growth opportunities within the power delivery field.

You will collaborate with engineers to produce design drawings, use Katapult, PoleForeman, and GDT for modeling, and ensure safe, reliable distribution solutions.

Competenze

• 13 years of experience in distribution design or distribution engineering in power delivery.
• Experience in grid hardening, make-ready, or related distribution projects.
• Foundational knowledge of power distribution and power delivery concepts.
• Ability to support electrical design activities for distribution systems.
• Willingness and motivation to grow in electric distribution engineering.
• For degreed candidates, 0-1 years of relevant experience with strong learning intent.

Mansioni

• Develop and update electric power distribution designs for grid hardening and reliability.
• Support make-ready activities to accommodate new or modified loads and equipment.
• Prepare, review, and refine distribution design drawings per engineering standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams from concept to implementation.
• Use Katapult, PoleForeman, and GDT for design and analysis as applicable.
• Apply engineering principles for safe, reliable distribution solutions.
• Maintain accurate project records and design files for tracking and regulatory needs.
