Job summary

Airline Hydraulics Corporation seeks a hands-on production leader to guide day-to-day assembly of power distribution equipment. You will balance mechanical builds with team coordination to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and safety on the production floor.

You will collaborate with engineering and leadership to troubleshoot, implement changes, and optimize workflows while mentoring staff and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical or mechanical assembly in manufacturing.
• Experience leading or coordinating a team.
• Familiarity with structured manufacturing processes (ISO preferred).
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
• Experience planning production workflows and schedules.
• Proficient in basic office software.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Effective cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for a team assembling power distribution equipment.
• Assign tasks and guide production staff to keep builds on schedule.
• Perform hands-on assembly including mechanical builds and electrical wiring.
• Ensure assemblies meet workmanship standards and function correctly.
• Coordinate unit testing with engineering and resolve issues.
• Safely operate equipment like forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided).
• Coordinate shipping and packaging of finished products as needed.
• Track progress and adjust workflows to meet delivery goals.
• Provide updates to leadership on staffing and production status.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
