Job summary

Point72 seeks a Quant Researcher to develop and maintain a power dispatch model for ERCOT and other major US ISOs. You will drive model inputs, architecture, and analyses to simulate grid conditions and marginal pricing, then test against historical data and forward scenarios.

You will communicate results to the investment team and publish dashboards, leveraging Python, Gurobi/CPLEX, and SQL-based data stores.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field and 5+ years building power dispatch models (SCUC/SCED).
• Experience with optimization solvers (Gurobi, CPLEX) and Python development.
