Job summary

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Manager with 7+ years of experience to support our Power Delivery team, focusing on Ameren transmission and distribution projects.

The role requires frequent travel to Ameren project sites and serves as a key client-facing leader from planning through construction phases. The successful candidate will coordinate electrical, civil/structural, survey, and environmental teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with NERC, FERC,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience including project management.
• Proven track record of managing multi-discipline engineering projects.
• Strong oral and written communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary project manager and client contact for Ameren T&D projects; lead multi-disciplinary teams through planning, design, permitting, procurement support, and construction administration.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans; address risks to cost, schedule, and quality.
• Prepare and execute project management plans aligned with HS standards, including scope, risk registers, change logs, and communication plans.
• Coordinate multi-discipline teams to ensure integrated deliverables.
• Manage project financials including budget tracking, earned value analysis, invoicing, and monthly reporting.
• Lead proposals development, including scope definition, fee estimates, schedules, and client presentations.
