Job summary

Ameren Missouri is hiring an Electrical Engineer to participate in long‑term planning, perform system studies, and identify investments to improve distribution capacity and reliability across 4 and 12 kV circuits and terminal equipment.

You will collaborate with Field Engineering and other teams to develop projects from justification through approval, conduct load analysis, prepare reports for stakeholders, and support storm restoration and outage contingencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university; preferred in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in power.
• Five+ years in electric utilities acceptable with other degrees.
• Experience in power system analysis, field engineering, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform power flow and reliability studies for Ameren power delivery and electric distribution system.
• Develop conceptual designs for new facilities and initiate project implementation.
• Lead long-term load forecasting and analysis.
• Prepare and present engineering reports to stakeholders.
• Support storm restoration and contingency planning.
