Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Power Distribution Engineer II to upgrade, expand, maintain, and automate overhead and underground power distribution systems for diverse clients across the U.S.

You will work under a Senior Engineer, coordinating with substation, distribution, transmission, and renewable energy teams. The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited engineering degree and 3–5 years of power distribution experience, with proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Civil/Structural, Mechanical or Multi-Disciplinary Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 3-5 years of Power Distribution Experience.
• Must be able to travel to project sites and interface with clients.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Work under the lead of a Senior Engineer with a team to complete projects for clients across the U.S., from simple service designs to multi-year rebuilds.
• Perform all aspects of designing overhead/underground power line projects and supporting construction.
• Coordinate internal/external reviews of designs before final submission.
• Develop deliverables such as construction drawings, BOMs, and ROW documentation.
