Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking a Data Analytics Analyst to transform operational and financial data into actionable business insights for Power Delivery Construction. You will develop dashboards, reports, and automation to improve decision-making and efficiency.

Collaborating with Construction Operations, Supply Chain, Business Support, Digital, and Technology teams, you will translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and communicate insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• Experience in data analytics, BI, reporting, data management or related analytics.
• Proficiency with SQL and querying multiple sources.
• Experience using Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate or similar tools.
• Experience creating dashboards and automated solutions to improve processes.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, integration and reporting best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools supporting operational and financial decision-making.
• Extract, analyze, and interpret data from multiple systems to identify trends and risks.
• Design and implement automated reporting and business process solutions to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Partner with various teams to address business challenges through analytics.
• Develop and maintain queries, scripts, and data solutions to enhance visibility into costs, productivity, and resource use.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and accurate reporting across processes.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
• Support analytics, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete ad hoc analyses as needed.
