• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data management, or related analytics field.
• Experience with enterprise systems and data sources (e.g., Maximo, Oracle, CAMP, financial systems).
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, solve problems, and support business decision‑making.
• Proficiency with SQL and querying data from multiple sources.
• Experience using Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, and automated solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, integration, and reporting best practices.
• Understanding of project financials, cost tracking, budgeting, and management reporting.

JOB SUMMARY

The Power Delivery Business Support Team plays a critical role in supporting the administrative, financial, and technology functions associated with the construction of Georgia Power transmission and distribution assets including, but not limited to, Transmission Construction, GRID, Distribution Construction, Network Underground, Make Ready, Asset Management, and Centralized Engineering.

The Data Analytics Analyst provides analytical and technical support to Power Delivery Construction leadership by transforming operational and financial data into actionable business insights. This role develops reporting, automation, and data-driven solutions that improve decision‑making, increase efficiency, and support construction operations. Responsibilities include analyzing complex data, developing dashboards and reporting tools, automating recurring processes, and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.

The position partners closely with Construction Operations, Business Support, Supply Chain, Digital, and Technology teams to enhance business processes, reporting capabilities, and data quality. Field engagement may be required to develop an understanding of operational workflows and ensure solutions align with business needs. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business operations and analytics by translating business requirements into practical, data-driven solutions and communicating insights to stakeholders across the organization.

The position will be filled at an exempt level, with the actual level dependent upon the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the selected candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience working with enterprise business systems and operational data sources (e.g., Maximo, Oracle, CAMP, financial systems, or similar platforms)

• Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, solve problems, and support business decision‑making

• Proficiency with SQL and experience extracting, querying, and analyzing data from multiple sources

• Experience using reporting, visualization, and automation tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, or similar technologies

• Experience developing dashboards, reports, and automated solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency

• Understanding of data quality, governance, integration, and reporting best practices

• Understanding of project financials, cost tracking, budgeting, and management reporting preferred

• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

• Experience working within Agile or project‑based delivery environments preferred
