Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is seeking a Materials Manager Leader to drive on-time delivery of long-lead equipment for data center clusters and to lead a squad of eight to nine Materials Managers. You will ensure date integrity, manage escalations, and partner with internal stakeholders to maintain schedule adherence across clusters.

Responsibilities

• Own the on-time delivery of long-lead equipment for a portfolio of AWS data center clusters.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of eight to nine Materials Managers.
• Drive execution consistency, date integrity, and escalation resolution to ensure equipment arrives on time to its Need By Date (NBD).
• Manage dates to the NBD and escalate risks to stakeholders as a liaison to the business.
• Collaborate across functions to align on priorities and mitigation actions.
