Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Material Manager for Power & Cooling (PAC) in Austin, TX.

You will own unconstrained material planning for data center equipment, coordinate with design, construction, and supply chain partners, and act as single-threaded leader for post-delivery issues. Responsibilities include rolling 3-year demand forecasts for long-lead equipment, milestone tracking from design to commissioning, risk management, and ensuring on-time delivery while optimizing cost

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing, commodity management or program management experience.
• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership while working cross functionally across several teams.

Responsibilities

• Own LLE planning and delivery execution for AWS data centers, with forecast accuracy and risk management.
• Lead rolling three-year forecast for LLE and coordinate with design teams to align specs with timelines.
• Monitor milestone tracking from forecast to commissioning, identify delays, and mitigate risks.
• Track supplier delivery against need-by dates and support mitigation in partnerships with Global Supply Chain.
• Escalate post-delivery challenges at construction sites and drive issue resolution.
• Contribute to on-schedule data center delivery by maintaining forecast accuracy and milestones.
