Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Materials Planning Manager for the Power & Cooling team to own long-lead equipment planning and on-time delivery for AWS data centers.

You will drive forecasts, milestones, and risk mitigation while partnering with design, construction, and supply managers to maintain unconstrained supply. You will coordinate with internal customers and suppliers, manage post-delivery issues, and lead escalation when needed, ensuring safe, cost-effective delivery across global

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing, commodity management or program management experience.
• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership while working cross functionally across several teams.

Responsibilities

• The Materials Planning Manager is a single threaded leader who serves as the orchestrator of long-lead equipment (LLE) planning and delivery execution for AWS data centers.
• Demand Planning and Forecasting- you will develop a rolling three-year forecast for LLE, coordinate with design teams, and manage changes to maintain forecast accuracy.
• Milestone Management and Progress Tracking- own milestone tracking from forecast to delivery and commissioning, ensuring timely data center delivery.
• Risk Management and Prioritization- track supplier delivery against construction needs, highlight risks, and drive build prioritization decisions.
• Post-Delivery Support and Issue Resolution- be the primary escalation point for post-delivery challenges at sites, leading war room sessions when needed.
• Success in this role directly impacts AWS data center delivery timelines and installation success.
