GPD Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Power Co-op in Columbus, OH. You will be a billable team member performing design work for clients and learning various design software while mentored by a professional engineer.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in learning AutoCAD power industry-related design technology.
• Interest in high voltage transmission/distribution line engineering (12kV to 245kV).
• Interest in structural design for power utility infrastructure.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and develop estimates/budgets.
• Must be a team player and be self-motivated.
• Ability to work on project teams and work individually.

Responsibilities
