Job summary

Miller International, Inc., designer of Cinch and Cruel Girl, seeks a Business Systems Analyst for our Denver office. You will translate business needs into scalable solutions, focusing on Power BI development and SQL analytics within BlueCherry ERP and Dynamics environments.

You will gather requirements, document BRDs, and collaborate with vendors, senior leadership, and cross‑functional teams to drive enterprise reporting, data governance, and successful technology adoption.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
5+ years of Business Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Data Analysis, or related experience.
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Experience supporting enterprise business applications, reporting platforms, or data solutions.
Strong understanding of business process analysis and process improvement methodologies.
3+ years of hands-on experience developing in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query/M) and writing advanced SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization).
Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn unfamiliar ERP systems and their underlying data models; BlueCherry (CGS) experience is a strong plus.
Experience supporting testing, UAT, and production deployments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with management to understand operational needs, identify process improvement opportunities, and recommend technology solutions.
Gather, document, analyze, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations to support decision‑making.
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for data extraction and reporting.
Design, build, and maintain reports from the BlueCherry ERP and gain familiarity with its data structures.
Support migration from on‑premises Dynamics to Dynamics 365 cloud, including data validation and API integration.
Create and maintain BRDs, functional specs, and system documentation.
Act as liaison between business users, developers, vendors, and technical teams throughout the lifecycle.
Coordinate and support UAT, defect tracking, and validation of system changes.
Assist with release planning, deployment activities, and post‑implementation support.
Monitor system performance and collaborate with support teams to improve user experience.
