Job summary

PING, Inc. is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to build and maintain financial reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and AI-assisted tools. The role validates data against sources and supports leadership with recurring reporting cycles from a Phoenix-based position.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, develop data models, and ensure accuracy across metrics while contributing to monthly and annual budgeting processes. Relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field plus 2+ years in financial reporting/analysis.
• Proven ability to build Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with SQL and data validation across systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools and data modeling is valued.

Responsibilities

• Build reports and dashboards from data models using Power BI, SQL, and AI-assisted tools.
• Validate reports against source data and ensure consistency of metrics.
• Develop and maintain data models, queries, measures, and visuals; troubleshoot reports.
• Deliver ad-hoc reports from management and other departments.
• Identify and resolve data/report discrepancies and explain drivers and trends.
• Collaborate with managers to clarify requirements and deliver requested insights.
• Document reports, data sources, and metric definitions for knowledge base.
• Support monthly management reporting and annual budget cycles.
• Develop understanding of the data platform (Microsoft Fabric) and source systems (Infor M3).
