Job summary

Equum Medical is hiring a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that turn data into actionable insights. You will partner with business stakeholders to deliver scalable dashboards, robust data models, and reliable reports that drive decision-making across acute care telehealth services.

You will work with SQL databases and APIs, build DAX calculations, and ensure data accuracy and security while promoting self-service analytics and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and ability to design intuitive dashboards.
• Experience integrating SQL databases, APIs, and other data sources into Power BI.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and deliver measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Power BI solutions.
• Build and optimize data models and DAX calculations for performance and usability.
• Develop Power Query transformations to clean, shape, and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across reports and datasets.
• Create drill-through capabilities, KPIs, and dynamic visualizations for insights.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and self-service reporting tools for business teams.
• Document dashboards, data sources, and report logic for transparency and maintainability.
