Job summary

Taskr in the United States is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer / Consultant to clear a reporting backlog and help shape the wider BI environment, with hands-on development focusing on Power BI and Report Builder.

The role may extend to senior consulting, providing architecture guidance across Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, and offering leadership on data models, DAX and reporting quality for executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong DAX, data modelling and dashboard development skills.
Very strong attention to detail and report presentation – visual quality is a major priority.
Experience building reports for senior/executive stakeholders.
Experience with Power BI Report Builder / Paginated Reports.
Microsoft Fabric experience, ideally including DirectLake.
Understanding of modern data pipelines and BI architecture.
AI/Fabric AI experience would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Build, enhance and optimise Power BI dashboards and reports.
Deliver polished, executive-ready reporting with excellent attention to detail.
Work through an existing backlog of reporting requirements.
Develop data models, DAX and paginated reports using Report Builder.
Work with data sourced through Databricks.
Support and advise on Microsoft Fabric, DirectLake and reporting architecture.
Explore opportunities to utilise AI capabilities within Fabric/Power BI.
For senior profiles, provide technical leadership and help guide the wider BI approach.
