Job summary

Comerit is seeking a remote Power BI Developer to design, develop, and deploy interactive reports and dashboards. You will work with architects and product owners to implement high-performing visualizations that meet business requirements.

The candidate should have 5+ years in data reporting and visualization, 3+ years with Power BI and cloud services, and experience with Snowflake. Proficiency in Power Query and DAX is expected along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Power BI certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with data reporting and visualization tools.
• 3+ years of experience with Power BI and Power BI cloud services solution design.
• 2+ years of experience with Power BI on Snowflake.
• Advanced knowledge of Power Query and DAX.
• Solid understanding of Kimball design methodology and data models.
• Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience with Power BI Direct Query, Import, and hybrid.
• Experience with Power BI performance testing and tuning.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights and support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
• Transform raw data into meaningful insights using Power BI's data transformation capabilities (Power Query) and DAX formulas.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security by implementing proper validation, monitoring, and access controls within Power BI.
• Provide Power BI support to business users to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Continuously evaluate new Power BI features and other visualization tools to improve reporting capabilities.
• Optimize the performance of reports and dashboards to ensure timely access to insights.

The ideal candidate will understand business intelligence, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
