Job Title: Power BI Developer

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team supporting a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency.

Pay Range

This range is provided by CGS Federal. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $104,832.00/yr - $142,272.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Build Data Analytics enterprise models using Microsoft Power BI
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards
• Create self-service models and data analytics using Power BI service
• Work with Microsoft Azure platform and services (Power BI, Flow, Cortana, etc.)
• Manage data gateway, data integration, and self-service data preparation
• Develop, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards to meet business needs
• Collaborate with business users to refine data models and requirements
• Perform requirement analysis, design, and prototyping
• Understand Data Analytics application security models
• Experience with ESRI or similar geographical mapping tools is a plus
• Interact with Government personnel at the CTO or SES level is preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in Data Analytics technologies
• Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise cloud technologies (Dynamics 365 CRM, Office 365, Azure)
• Strong SQL and RDBMS skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tight delivery schedules
• Web API experience
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (VSTS)
• ETL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Government software development policies
• Client-facing communication skills
• Federal security clearance
