Job summary

ManpowerGroup in the United States is seeking a seasoned Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and data solutions for a healthcare client. The role focuses on translating complex data into intuitive analytics.

You will work remotely, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize data integration, modeling, and performance, while delivering clear documentation and scalable Power BI artifacts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Advanced/expert DAX and Power Query/M skills.
• Strong data modeling, multi-source integration, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Dataflow Gen2, Power BI Service, gateways, RLS, and refresh management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Develop and troubleshoot advanced DAX calculations, including complex measures and performance optimization.
• Perform data transformations using Power Query/M, including merges and function development.
• Integrate and manage multiple data sources across files, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Salesforce Objects.
• Design scalable data models with complex relationships and fact/dimension structures.
• Troubleshoot reports, data relationships, refresh failures, and data quality issues.
• Manage Power BI Service components: workspaces, scheduled refreshes, gateways, and RLS.
• Develop automated workflows with Power Automate and integrate with Power BI and other systems.
• Develop user-friendly Microsoft Power Apps to support processes and data collection.
• Maintain technical documentation of development, transformations, and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into Power BI solutions.

Pay Range: $55 - $60 per hour (W2)

We are seeking a “Power BI Developer” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data solutions that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data architecture, and data integration, with the ability to translate complex data into intuitive and visually compelling user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.

• Develop and troubleshoot advanced DAX calculations, including complex measures, business logic, and performance optimization.

• Perform complex data transformations using Power Query/M, including merges, appends, custom functions, and query optimization.

• Integrate and manage multiple data sources across files, Smartsheet’s, SharePoint, Salesforce Objects, etc.

• Design scalable data models, including complex relationships and fact/dimension structures.

• Troubleshoot existing reports, including DAX, data relationships, refresh failures, data-quality issues, and performance bottlenecks.

• Manage Power BI Service components, including workspaces, semantic models, scheduled refreshes, gateways, security/RLS, and deployment.

• Design and develop automated workflows and business process solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, including integrations with Power BI and other business systems.

• Design and develop user-friendly Microsoft Power Apps to support business processes, data collection, and operational workflows.

• Maintain clear technical documentation of development, enhancements, data transformations, business logic, and configuration changes.

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex reporting requirements into effective Power BI solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on Power BI development experience.

• Advanced/expert DAX and Power Query/M skills.

• Strong expertise in data modeling, multiple-source integration, and performance optimization.

• Strong proficiency with Dataflow Gen2, including developing, transforming, and maintaining reusable dataflows across multiple data sources.

• Strong experience with Power BI Service, gateways, refresh management, and RLS.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and improve complex existing Power BI solutions.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric experience

• SQL, SharePoint, Smartsheet experience are a plus.
