Job summary

Flyover in Chicago is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to own our data platform end to end, from POS ingestion through Microsoft Fabric to Power BI dashboards. You will work with Revenue Manager and Finance to turn ticketing and POS data into reliable reporting.

As the only IT team member onsite, you will handle occasional Level 1 IT tasks and work a hybrid schedule, with on-site attendance required when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics, or BI/engineering roles.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric preferred.
• Experience with ticketing/POS data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines ingesting POS data into Fabric.
• Architect and manage Fabric lakehouse/warehouse with security and monitoring.
• Own on-prem SQL Server footprint: backups, patching, and performance tuning.
• Design star schemas and DAX measures for attendance, revenue, and KPIs.
• Build Power BI dashboards with business teams and administer Power BI service.
• Collaborate with Revenue Manager and Finance to translate reporting needs.
• Define data standards, document processes, and evaluate Fabric capabilities.
