Job summary

McLeod Software is seeking a Developer, MPact to design and deliver data-driven Power BI dashboards and analytics that empower informed decision-making. You will translate business requirements into scalable data models and SQL solutions while leveraging DAX for high-performance insights.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams, support deployment and DevOps practices, and maintain documentation across data models and reporting logic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with relevant analytics experience.
• 4+ years in data analytics; 8+ years preferred in transportation/software domains.
• Strong Power BI, data modeling, and Data Analysis Expressions skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git and DevOps practices; familiarity with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and datasets for operations and strategy.
• Translate business needs into scalable analytics with robust data models and reporting outputs.
• Develop and optimize DAX measures, SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Build analytical data models including fact/dimension tables and security structures.
• Manage Power BI Service tasks: publish, refresh, row-level security, and access control.
• Monitor performance and ensure data quality across reporting assets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to gather requirements.
• Support deployment, version control, and DevOps processes; maintain documentation.
